The Cornwall Retreat
with Emily Johnson and Catherine Gallagher
June 4 - 7, 2026
Yoga, rainforest walks, woodland sauna, natural pools, resting… magic.
A 3-night escape to one the most unique areas of natural beauty in the UK.
THE VENUE
Cabilla is a 300-acre area of outstanding natural beauty in the heart of Bodmin Moor, Cornwall. Nestled within ancient and undisturbed nature lies 100 acres of rare Atlantic Temperate Rainforest and peaceful wildflower meadows – all paired with contemporary spaces, comfortable accommodation and quiet luxuries.
THE ACCOMODATION
You’ll stay in modern, comfortable Koyts which can be configured for 2 single beds or 1 king. Each Koyt comes with ready-made beds with quality linens and towels, and a woodburner for cozy nights.
Modern bathrooms are a short walk away in the Barns, complete with monsoon showers, underfloor heating, hairdryers and luxury Bramley products.
THE YOGA
Enjoy 6 long, leisurely yoga sessions in either the indoor or outdoor yoga spaces:
Inside The Barns is The Studio: a bright and airy space for yoga no matter the weather outside.
And in the ancient woodland, down by the River Bedalder, you’ll find the outdoor Rainforest Studio: a space for yoga, meditation and soundbaths immersed in the restorative powers of nature.
THE ACTIVITIES
We intentionally do not ‘over-schedule’ this retreat because the natural setting of Cabilla allows for endless exploration. In your freetime, you might like to:
Explore the 100 acres of temperate rainforest (only 1% of this vital habitat remains in the UK)
- Relax around the firepit and gaze at the stars in one of the UK’s few ‘Dark Sky Environments’
- Unwind in the woodland sauna and dip in one of several natural pools along the pure waters of the Bedalder River
- Nap, read, chat with old and new friends, explore… be.
